Is it possible to get an external cd/dvd drive for a desk top computer? - external cd dvd

My internal units were, I can not afford a new packaging engineer for an outsider, simply plug and play installation. The only ones I saw said that though it is for laptops. They work in an office or a special need for it?

  1. Cd.dvd you are applying for a unit but the answers are here referrign for hard disks ...?

However, both may find that external drives connect via USB, FireWire, or eSATA, to name a few.

Contrary to what some n00bs that absolutely can install programs on an external hard drive.

Having said all that, all interfaces are slow (well, except for eSATA), rather than an internal drive ... They are very easy to install, so if you can open your case and have run too may be worth it. Interns will also be cheaper as a rule.

  2. Of course this is possible. But make sure that a USB port on your desktop so that you can access it. However, the external drive can be used for file storage. No application can be run on this device and should not, especially in the motherboard or CPU processing chips.

  3. Most PCs these days USB ports on them. There are many external USB hard drives. If this be classified as a laptop - they work very well on a desk. Here are a few: http://www.newegg.com/Store/SubCategory. ...

  4. Yes, you are in the USB port. Even if you're one of these operating systems and the right to work.

The CD / DVD specifications are listed on the site should tell you what your system to use the device. While the system has what it takes, then Nothing Else Matters.
